Bavarian Stitch Baby Afghan Written Instructions
(to the best of my writing abilities...I apologize...but it's better than nothing for those who work better with written instructions)

Chain in Multiples of 8 + 7  
(Chain 15 for a square, Chain 23 for a rectangle, Chain 31 for oblong)

Row 1 circle base build up (Video Marker 5:05)
In 4th chain from your hook 4 Treble Crochet (TC), chain 1, 4 TC all in same stitch
Skip the next 3 chain spaces, 1Single Crochet (SC) in the next space (4th chain)
Skip the next 3 chain spaces, 4TC, Chain1, 4TC, in the next space (4th chain)
Skip the next 3 chain spaces, 1Single Crochet (SC) in the next space (4th chain)
Skip the next 3 chain spaces, 4TC, Chain1, 4TC, in the next space (4th chain)
(Repeat until you reach 4 chains from the end)
1 SC at end of foundation chain, Turn work
*(In the 1st hole, 4TC, Chain1, 4TC
1SC in same space you SC on the previous side)
Repeat * until you are at the end of your row
At the end of the row...join last set with a Slip Stitch (SL)
Chain 4

Row 2 (Video Marker 17:20)
4 Back Post Treble Crochets(BPTC)Together
Chain 1 to close BPTC, Chain 4
**(1SC in next space (where you Chained 1 in the previous row)
Chain 4
8 BPTC together (only on posts from previous row, NOT THE bottom chain)
Chain 1, Chain 4)
Repeat ** until you reach your turning edge
TURNING:(Video Marker 27:30)
Chain 4, 4 BPTC together, Chain 1, Chain 4
1 SC on edge of foundation chain
Chain 4, 4 BPTC together, Chain 1, Chain 4
Repeat **
Final end turn: (Video Marker 33:10)
Chain 4, 4 BPTC together, chain 1, Chain 4
1 SC in foundation chain space

ROW 3 (Video Marker 34:30)
In the area in the previous row’s BPTC is joined together (the “eye”) you are going to do 
4 TC, chain 1, 4 TC, Chain1, 4 TC all in that same space
Then tack down with 1 SC in the next SC space from the previous row
***In the next “eye” 4 TC, Chain 1, 4 TC
1 sc in next SC space
Repeat *** until you reach the corner
TURNING (Video Marker 41:55)
At the corner “eyes” 
4 TC, chain 1, 4 TC, Chain1, 4 TC all in that same “eye” space 
Then tack down with a SC
Repeat ***
End of Row 3
Slip stitch the next 4 stitches and repeat ROW 2 & 3
